What this proves.
Identity was verified via Wever email sign-in on the issuance date. Single status is self-attested, not independently investigated by Wever.
What it does not establish.
Email sign-in establishes control of that sign-in identity. Legal identity, the truth of the relationship statement, and whether the photo shows the holder remain unverified. A photo fingerprint links the submitted image to the statement. It is not a face match or a liveness check.
The credential preserves the holder’s exact words. A valid status means the credential is current and has not been revoked.
