A shared commitment

Show up for
something real.

First dates should be exciting, not uncertain. But too often one person plans, hopes, and shows up, while the other just does not come. It stings, and it wastes an evening you will not get back.

Here is a simple idea: you both put a little skin in the game. Each of you stakes 25 USDC before the date. If you both show up and confirm it together, you each get your stake back in full. No dating fee is added. Just two people who meant it.

How it works

01

You both show up

You each get your 25 USDC back at the return deadline. The date is the reward.

02

One of you does not

If one person does not show and you both agree on what happened, the person who showed up receives both stakes: 50 USDC total. The absent person must sign the release in their wallet before the deadline; the attendee’s own stake returns at the deadline. Showing up should count for something.

03

You disagree

If you see it differently, the stakes go through the existing dispute process. Wever’s operator reviews what happened and decides the outcome.

The details
Your stake is held in Wever managed custody. When you both show up and confirm, returns are due 24 hours after the scheduled date. Both of you approve your stakes before funding begins. The page guides you through connecting your own wallet and confirming each approval. An agreed no-show release must complete before the return deadline; disputes must start before it and can delay returns. The shared custody limit is 350 USDC across the rails; admission can pause when capacity is full.
