WEVER PAY / CONDITIONAL PAYMENTS

If it happens,
it pays.

A conditional payment is money that moves itself. You lock USDC on Base with a simple rule: if this happens, pay that person. When the condition is met, they get paid automatically. If it is not met by your deadline, the money comes back to you.

Create a conditional payment
01 / MILESTONE PAYOUT

Pay when the work ships.

Lock the payment for a milestone up front. Your reviewer confirms it is done, and the freelancer or agent is paid on the spot.

02 / PAY ON DELIVERY

Pay when it arrives.

The seller can see the money is committed. The buyer confirms delivery, and only then does the money move.

03 / RELEASE ON A DATE

Pay on a set day.

Schedule a payment for a date. It releases by itself at that time, with nothing to remember and no one to chase.

SET THE CONDITION

Create a conditional payment.

Native USDC on Base. Maximum 300 USDC.

USDC
When should it pay?

Your local time. The payment releases automatically at this time.

If the payment has not released by the deadline, the full amount comes back to you automatically. Up to 90 days.

Each call uses your shared allowance of 10 free calls per wallet per rolling 30 days. A paid call costs 0.10 USDC, separate from the payment. If a fee is needed, this page shows it for review and never pays automatically.

Creating asks for a message signature that proves the request came from you. It does not approve a USDC transfer.

Check a payment.

The payer, the payee and the confirmer can each check a payment with their own wallet.

THE RULES, IN PLAIN WORDS

Locked until
it is decided.

The money is locked, not held by us
Funds sit in a public escrow contract on Base, not in a Wever wallet. The contract can only do three things with them: pay the payee, refund you after the deadline, or return them to you if you cancel.
All of it, or none of it
The payee gets the full amount or nothing. If a transfer fails, nothing moves and the money stays locked until it can be paid or returned.
It happens on its own
When the release time arrives or the confirmer confirms, the payment goes out without anyone pressing a button. After the deadline, an unpaid amount comes back to you the same way. If Wever were ever offline, anyone can trigger these steps directly on Base.
Only you can cancel, and only before it pays
You can cancel until the payment releases. A payment set for a date can be cancelled until that date arrives.
Asking twice never pays twice
Every request has a unique key. Repeating it returns the same result, and the escrow itself refuses to pay or refund the same payment a second time.
Creating is free of any spending permission
Creating a payment only saves the terms. Money moves only after you sign one USDC authorization for this exact payment, its payee, amount and deadline.

FOR AGENTS AND DEVELOPERS

The same payment, through tools.

Agents can create, fund, check, cancel and confirm conditional payments through the dedicated MCP endpoint. Each paid call costs 0.10 USDC, separate from the payment and with no gas to pay. The existing shared allowance is 10 free calls per wallet per rolling 30 days, with signed wallet proof.
